Hi, my name is Luna!

I am a one year old dalmation from Sydney Australia.

My mum and grandparents (Nonna and Nonno) were casually talking about getting a dog to join their family. Nonno said he wanted a whippet and mum ended up looking at dalmatians. Mum found my litter's ad on dogzonline that said there were puppies ready to be picked up that weekend. Mum inquired even though she thought all the puppies would have been sold already but luckily enough, I was still available!!

As soon as the breeder sent a photo of me, mum instantly fell in love! I joined my new family by fluke, but I wouldn't have it any other way :) 

My first day in my furever home was crazy! It was a new environment but I knew I would be here forever so it didn't take me long to settle in. 

The day was filled with a lot of sniffing, a lot of play, napping and a few accidents :P

I am a social butterfly! I love to run around and I will always try to sneak in an ear kiss whenever you're not looking! My dalmation fur and spots are unique to me.. but in saying that, I also shed.. a lot!

When mum finally gets me to sit still, I loooove to snuggle. Even though I'm 35kg now, I will always be mummy's baby and attempt to curl up on her lap to sleep. 

The best trick I can do is to sit pretty. Mum had so much fun teaching this to me and she has never had a dog she's been able to teach it too. I think that means I'm the smartest and prettiest dog ever, right?!

My favourite toy is a very special family heirloom. My mummy and grandparents had previous dogs that owned a dual-ended tug rope that they used to play with. My family held onto it after they passed and now the rope is my most favourite toy. I think it's so special that I have a toy that my fur siblings played with. Even though they have crossed the rainbow bridge, they will always be with me. 

I am the family clown and mischief maker at home, but that's what my family love about me! 

I recently celebrated my 1st birthday and my family purchased me the MINI DOG BIRTHDAY BOX from BOXD FOR PETS. Mum had seen the box posted online before and thought it was a great little pack that had everything she wanted and needed to celebrate my first birthday. 

My mum said that the team at BOXD FOR PETS were so helpful and messages were responded to so quickly. My birthday box and birthday balloon was also hand delivered to make sure it arrived in time for my special day!

I loved my gift, even though I was initially afraid of the balloon (which I quickly assassinated!). I loved all the stuffed toys in the box and smashed through the treats in no time!
